Introduction

This executive education program is intended for practitioners from across the globe who wish to gain a deeper understanding of U.S. technology law. It is well-suited for international attorneys with 3-5 years’ work experience in their field, as well as high-achieving international law students with significant practical experience.

During this one-week certificate program, you will gain an understanding of the foundations of U.S. technology law and delve into topics such as algorithms and artificial intelligence, Bitcoin and other cryptocurrencies, and fintech.

1. What does the tuition fee include?

The program fee for the U.S. Business Law Summer Certificate Program is $2,750 and includes all course materials. Transportation, housing and meals are not included in the program fee. However we will send our clients student rate housing after successful admission.

2. How does the admission process work?

Admission will be granted on a rolling basis, but we encourage everyone interested to apply as early as possible as there are a limited number of spots available in the program. Once admitted, a non-refundable $500 deposit will be required within two weeks of acceptance.

3. What are the benefits of enrolling in Penn Law Summer Program?

During this one-week certificate program, you will gain an understanding of how U.S. business works, starting with a short introduction to the U.S. legal system. You will also gain access to the global Penn community upon graduation.

4. Is there discount joining both Law and Technology program and U.S. Business Law program?

$4,550 – Program fee when combining a second week of instruction by applying to the U.S. Business Law for the International Practitioner Executive Education Program (July 7-12, 2019). Participants accepted into the second week receive a discount of $950 for attending both programs.

5. Does the program fee include lodging?

The program fee includes all lectures and course materials. Lodging and transportation to and from Penn Law to be arranged by students.
